- In September, Health Partners notified their hospitals, clinics and Capitol View, that the would mandate employees be vaccinated or have an exemption on file. They did not lose any staff members due to declination of vaccine.

- COVID-19 outbreaks in the facility really took a toll on staff, as residents and employees both battled from severe illness, and they wanted to do whatever they could to protect themselves and others from going through that again.

- Facility worked with pharmacist groups to schedule vaccine clinics for all staff and residents. The partnership was continued after the clinics to offer vaccines once a week onsite to staff and residents who requested them.

- Facility created vaccine ambassadors onsite so they would inform employees about the vaccine and help dispel any myths or hesitations about the vaccines heard on the floor.
- They created vaccine stories of employees who received the vaccines, to share how the vaccine may have effected them, to share any stories with COVID-19 experiences and to share why they made the personal choice.
