Superior Health is a joint venture that serves as a prime contractor in the Network of Quality Improvement and Innovation Contractors (NQIIC). Its eight member organizations and governing body are an experienced team of the country’s most successful and innovative quality improvement contractors. Superior Health’s joint venture served as a prime contractor and successfully completed the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) 12th Scope of Work (12SOW) from November 2019 through November 2024, supporting over 4 million Medicare beneficiaries.
Superior Health improves health care quality, experience and health equity across the continuum of care. We focus on innovation, effectiveness and efficiency in designing and implementing quality improvement initiatives that are person-centered and integrated across settings and services. We serve six states in the Great Lakes Region, including: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Superior Health leverages extensive quality improvement experience and expertise by bringing the power of eight organizations together to achieve this mission.
The eight member organizations have long track records of success driving achievement of Medicare quality improvement goals as a Quality Innovation Network – Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO), Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) or End-Stage Renal Disease Network (ESRD).
