End Stage Renal Disease Network
End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Networks support the federal government in assuring appropriate care for patients who receive treatment through dialysis facilities and kidney transplant centers certified by Medicare. As one of 18 regional ESRD Networks in the United States, Midwest Kidney Network (ESRD Network 11) serves five states including Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, 506 renal dialysis providers, 19 renal transplant centers and 52,289 people with kidney failure (as of Dec. 31, 2023).
