Rosa’s Journey – A Pneumonia Prevention Animated Video Series

“Rosa’s Journey” is an animated video series designed to enhance nursing home staff training on pneumonia prevention. Following the daily life of resident Rosa Residente, each episode addresses key topics such as admission, mobility, change of condition, transmission-based precautions, rehospitalization, oral care and discharge.

The series features an engaging narrative that resonates with staff, encouraging interactive learning through realistic scenarios where important prevention steps are overlooked. Each episode is short and flexible, making it easy to incorporate into staff training sessions or individual viewing. Immediate application of knowledge is encouraged by engaging in discussions of missed opportunities noted within each episode.
