National CLAS standards
CLAS stands for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services. By implementing the National CLAS standards, organizations can improve the quality of services provided to everyone, which can help reduce health disparities and advance health equity across racial, ethnic, linguistic, and gender minorities, as well as individuals with disabilities. CLAS helps health care professionals and public health representatives build connections and trust with individuals and diverse populations so they can better understand and address their needs.
Superior Health is committed to supporting organizations in implementing CLAS standards and principles through content creation, resources sharing, outreach, and learning collaborations both internally and externally. The Superior Health CLAS team not only provides CLAS education but strives to ensure the principals are embedded in all work at Superior Health upholding National CLAS Standards.
