Vaccines help our immune systems fight infections. There are several types of vaccines that protect of us from serious illness. Vaccine-preventable diseases cause long-term illness, hospitalization and even death. These modules can help us better understand what illnesses are vaccine-preventable and can provide guidance when having conversations about getting vaccinated.
