Onsite Visits
As an active participant in this initiative, we offer a free onsite visit by an infection preventionist from IPCWell. Dr. Buffy Lloyd- Krejci and her expert staff provide in person training, education and technical assistance to long- term care facilities. When the IPCWell team enters the building, they spend two to four hours touring and conversing with staff to learn how infection program works. This is intended to be very informal and a relaxed unique learning experience and questions are always encouraged. Focusing on policies and procedures is not the priority at the visit, time is spent to understand infection control and prevention behaviors in daily operation.
