Individuals with weakened immune systems are at higher risk for illness and are among the most important patient populations who should receive vaccinations. Join us and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to discuss strategies and recommendations for vaccinating the immunocompromised.

Audience

Physicians, nurses and clinical staff who work with patients in clinics, home health agencies and nursing homes.

Objectives­

  • Identify two reasons why it’s important to protect the immunocompromised population
  • Discuss recommended vaccines for immunocompromised adults
  • List two strategies to vaccinating the immunocompromised population
