Please join us for the upcoming Medication Safety Learning and Action Network (LAN) event, focused on Promising Interventions to Improve Safety and Reduce Opioid Adverse Events. Learn about interventions utilized by two different quality improvement organizations (QIOs) and a large payer to reduce the risks of opioid use and improve the safety of opioid prescribing. Consider what steps your organization can take to improve opioid safety or share what steps you have already taken to improve safety for your population.

Audience

Quality improvement organizations, physicians and nurses, and beneficiaries.

Speakers

This session will feature Anne Myrka (IPRO), Jennifer Thomas (Delmarva Foundation of District of Columbia), Cheryl Anderson (The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence), Marghie Giuliano, (Healthcentric Advisors), and Tom Kowalski (Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts).
