Join the National Learning & Action Network (LAN) Event titled, “Improving Immunization Rates: How to Engage and Effectively Communicate.” Hear from leading immunization experts and researchers Dr. Gregory Poland and Ms. Caroline Poland on their research findings that we can use to support patients’ and health care workers’ decision-making about immunizations.
The Preferred Cognitive Styles and Decision-Making Model recognizes that people use different cognitive styles to make decisions, and if we understand different “thinking” strategies, we can influence how they process and react to information. Actionable tips will be shared to help providers, partners, and QIN-QIOs promote improved immunization rates. This event will also be framed by a patient perspective shared through personal story.

This event is open to beneficiaries, families, health care providers, practitioners, partners, and Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN-QIOs).
