MPRO is pleased to announce the re-launching of the MPRO Behavioral Health Collaborative on Feb. 24.
Objectives
- Form a network of professionals focused on identifying, implementing and promoting best practice behavioral health strategies to:
- Increase rates of depression and alcohol use disorder screening in primary care settings
- Facilitate timely and appropriate follow-up care, including 7 and 30 day follow-up appointments, for inpatient psychiatric facilities
- Improve care coordination for behavioral health patients in ambulatory and acute care settings
- Open lines of communication between medical and behavioral health providers
- Share and promote provider specific innovations and best practices in an all teach-all learn environment
- Establish relationships that fostering multidisciplinary and inter-agency communication
Our Kick-Off meeting will include:
- An overview of MPRO’s Behavioral Health initiative, including the project plan
- Introductions and sharing of current care coordination and behavioral health efforts
- Review and establishment of the collaborative group’s purpose
- Next steps
