Mary Beth Dahl, RNThe Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services sponsors a diabetes intervention initiative called Everyone with Diabetes Counts. It promotes diabetes self-management through education. Mary Beth Dahl, RN, Lake Superior QIN, manages Everyone With Diabetes Counts in Minnesota, with a focus on educating Medicare consumers in rural communities and in underserved communities who have diabetes. “Living room language” is emphasized in the materials and facilitator content. She will present this program at the Minnesota Rural Health Conference on June 30, 2015 at 9:45 a.m. CT.
