Speakers
Christine Delander, MS, RN, Colonial Acres. Christine has been a DON at Colonial Acres for one year and a DON in LTC for 8 years. She began working in the geriatric field as a NAR in 2002. She has brought prior experience in championing the INTERACT™ program to Colonial Acres where she is working with her team to put systems into place to address change in condition.
Kris Modl, Dove Healthcare. Kris earned a bachelor of social work degree at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She has worked in health care for 31 years. For the last 21 years, she has been the director of social services and admissions for Dove Healthcare South & West Eau Claire. Kris has been a member of the Wisconsin Nursing Home Social Workers Association since 1988. She has served in various board capacities and is the current president of the Indianhead Nursing Home Social Workers Association. Since 2010, Kris has been an active member of the Chippewa Valley Continuum of Care Coalition – a coalition of health care providers within our community that develops and implements a patient-centered transition process and continuum of care for the patient.
Cindy Stinson, RN, Luther Haven. Cindy Stinson is the director of nursing at Luther Haven in Montevideo, MN. Cindy began her career in long-term care as a CNA in 1980, fell in love with working in long-term care, and has continued serving in this setting in a variety of nursing positions.
Diane Landmark, RN, Luther Haven. Diane is the PIPP Coordinator at Luther Haven in Montevideo, MN. Diane’s nursing career includes 20 years as an acute care staff nurse, four years as a home care nurse, four years as a long-term care nurse manager, and 18 years as a long-term care DON.
