Kristi Wergin, RN, BSN, CPHQ, Lake Superior QIN, will speak at the 24th annual Nursing Leadership Symposium presented by LeadingAge Minnesota. Kristi’s session will focus on the nursing home quality improvement work Lake Superior QIN is leading as part of the contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including recruitment for the National Nursing Home Quality Care Collaborative. Kristi’s session takes place on June 4, 2015, from 10:15 am to noon, in St. Paul, Minn.
Dr. Jane Pederson’s presentation “Working with the Medical Director” will take place at 12:45, also on June 4.
LeadingAge’s Nursing Leadership Symposium is a five part series, held over the course of 5 months for three days each session. It is specifically designed for nurse leaders in aging services settings (primarily care centers, but some sessions are attended by nurse leaders in HWS/home care settings). The symposium can be attended in its entirety, or on a topic-by-topic/session-by-session basis. 2015’s symposium takes place at multiple locations in Minnesota.
