Speaker
Anatol Tolchinsky, Ph.D., LP,is a clinical health psychologist who originally immigrated to the United States from Russia at age 4 and received all of his training in various institutions throughout Michigan. He completed an APA accredited Health Psychology fellowship at the Michigan State University Consortium for Advanced Psychology Training in Flint, Michigan prior to becoming the director of behavioral medicine at Ascension Providence in Southfield, Michigan. Since starting his position in 2015 he has also become a psychiatry clerkship director, created a primary care behavioral team, and created a Health Psychology focused practicum which he continues to oversee. Additionally, he contributes to several committees and advisory panels within his hospital system which involve strategic planning and operations for behavioral health integration.
