This six-session workgroup will explore the F-tags that guide infection prevention programs in nursing homes. We will take a deep dive into the State Operations Manual (SOM) language, surveyor guidance and provide nursing homes with best practices and resources. Content is designed for new infection preventionists (IPs) and seasoned IPs to set up their infection control programs for success and quality outcomes. The six sessions will be interactive, with collaborative sharing and peer-to-peer learning opportunities.
