Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is one of the top diagnoses involved with readmissions throughout Minnesota. Lake Superior QIN, Minnesota Hospital Association, and the American Lung Association Minnesota Chapter are partnering to provide a webinar series to inform providers across the continuum of care in support of patients with COPD. This second webinar in the series will focus on the critical use of oxygen therapy for COPD patients.
Objectives
- Understand the basics of the CMS Oxygen Certificate of Medical Necessity guidelines
- Learn about the common options available to patients for home oxygen therapy
- Increase awareness of alternative options for home oxygen therapy and benefits to patients.

Health care professionals interested in improving chronic obstructive pulmonary disease care including, but not limited to: nurses, COPD program coordinators, program medical directors, quality improvement personnel.
