  1. Identify strategies for building leadership commitment for staff participation in QAPI
  2. Develop a plan to lay the foundation for QAPI and active engagement of your team
  3. Describe structural elements of QAPI and strategies for building accountability

Speakers

Deb Fournier, RN-BC, MSB, CPHQ, NHA, is the chief operations officer for Maine Veterans’ Homes, an independent nonprofit organization providing long-term care services to veterans and their families. Deb is a member of the executive team and provides operational oversight of five multi-level skilled nursing facilities, one residential care facility, as well as the clinical information systems, quality and compliance programs. A Certified Professional in Health Care Quality, she currently serves on the American Health Care Association’s quality improvement committee and not-for-profit council. Deb is a former board member and past chair of the Maine Health Care Association Board of Directors.
