RegisterThis webinar will explore the association between depression and chronic illness, specifically the impact of depression in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The presentation will also evaluate treatment interventions in patients with depression and CKD and ESRD.

Audience

Physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers who work with patients in clinics.

Speaker

Balwinder Singh, M.D., is a senior associate consultant and assistant professor of psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and also is on staff at the Mayo Clinic Depression Center. Dr. Singh consults with the Midwest Kidney Network, providing his clinical expertise on behavioral health matters related to ESRD and CKD patients and providers in Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
