Speakers
Janet Lilleberg, senior epidemiologist, Minnesota Department of Health. Janet provides public health and infection prevention consultation and technical assistance to health care providers and the public in topics related to emerging infections and infection control. She provides support to hospitals submitting data in the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), the nation’s most widely used healthcare-associated infection tracking system. Janet analyzes the data submitted in NHSN, creating reports that identify problem areas and measuring the progress of prevention efforts, with the goal to ultimately eliminate healthcare-associated infections.
