Text, On sharing resources about stigma in Superior Health Connect: “Very much appreciated. Our facility is encouraging [use of person-centered language]!” Who we are

Superior Health Quality Alliance (Superior Health) is a regional Quality Innovation Network – Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) under the direction of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Superior Health’s Medication Safety team is committed to decreasing opioid adverse drug events, including overdose deaths throughout our three-state region, as well as improving medication safety in nursing homes.

Superior Health is also working to reduce stigma in substance use disorder.

How we help

We know opioid adverse drug events and overdose deaths continue to rise at alarming rates. Superior Health collaborates with nursing homes and health care communities to positively impact these rates, as well as adverse drug events in nursing homes.
